Back in the summer when Jon Gosselin got decked out with an Ed Hardy wardrobe, he has become the unofficial poster boy for the clothing brand. I do not understand. The guy gets some shirts from the designer, and then all of a sudden he is the Ed Hardy Poster boy. It seems like no matter what article I read, and Jon Gosselin is mentioned, so is some line about him wearing Ed Hardy. “Walking Ed Hardy billboard, Jon Gosselin”, “the Ed Hardy-loving bachelor-to-be”, and things like, “besides a shirt that doesn’t come from Ed Hardy” is in almost any article your read about the on going Jon and Kate drama. We get the point, he wears Ed Hardy. I think it is time for Jon Gosselin to become disassociated with the Ed Hardy brand.

I was looking very forward to the Ed Hardy show, and it delivered as usual at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. I love Ed Hardy’s punk/rock/hip styling and this year was no different. The hair and make-up was radical, the clothing was new and exciting, with hints back to the past in design and styling and the music was great, as well as the rock bands that the models wore. The Ed Hardy show was one of my favorites for the week, as well as many others as well. The after party at La Cote was a great way to have some fun after the show. I am already looking forward to seeing Ed Hardy at next years Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim.

Ed Hardy had possibly one of the best and brightest swim wear collections shown off during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2009. Before the decadent display of the latest and greatest fashion got off the ground, Christian Audigier had a press preview in the Raleigh Hotel’s Penthouse. What a preview it was getting to see a sneak peak of the always fashionable Ed Hardy Brand! Getting the media pumped up for the show had them wanting more, which they got later on at the show itself Deejayed by Lil Jon. The swim wear shown was nothing less than genius. The only disappointment of the show was the end, everyone wanted to see more of Audigier’s popular and loved designs. The show had several popular runway models including Joanna Krupa, Cindy Taylor, Donna Feldman and Vinci Alonso wearing Miami Beach local Lee Dalhberg’s Leather Rock Bands.
