Diesel started off the the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with a great combination of beauty and fun. Diesel’s runway show displayed a great amount of fun and creation in a wide variety of packages, ranging from men’s wear, to women’s, to kids. The swimwear was creative and original making it all the better. One of the models showing off Diesels swimwear, was May Andersen. Immediately following the runway show was the Kickoff party hosted by Diesel with musical performances by Chester French and Teyana Taylor. Diesel was a great way to start the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim off right, making it a night to remember.

Diesel Kick-off Party for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

Leave it to Diesel to inaugurate this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami with a raucous poolside fashion show and celebration. The show will take place at the Raleigh Hotel on Thursday, July 17 at 7 p.m.. Naturally, a bumping kick-off party will follow. 

 
To add spice to the swimwear, Pharrell Williams’ protégé Teyana Taylor of My Super Sweet 16 fame and singer of “Google Me” will be walking in the show, while another of Williams’ discoveries will be performing at the party. Chester French, two Harvard alums who caught the eye of many a record label, were signed by Williams’ Star Trak / Interscope records last spring and will add their unique flavor to Swim Week. Also, DJ Lorenza spinning will be laying down the music for the party. The Runway Miami Team will be attending the event and posting the coverage after the show.
